What we practice
After trauma, the body can stay on alert, with shallow breathing or a habit of holding the breath. A slow, steady breath gives your nervous system a different signal, and a long exhale is one of the simplest ways to help the body settle.
Sessions draw on a few well-known practices, introduced gradually and at your pace. You choose what to try, and you can pause or skip anything at any time.
- Box breathing
- A steady, even rhythm that gives the mind something simple to follow when things feel fast or overwhelming.
